Dark Prophecies is the second set of cards in Shadow Era, following Call of the Crystals. It is followed by Shattered Fates.

Dark Prophecies expands the game with 150 new cards. No new heroes were introduced, however, alternate art versions of all 20 heroes from Call of the Crystals are available (numbered 1-20, separate from the main set). In addition, two additional "Legendary" cards (numbers 151 and 152) are present in the set. The cover card is Word of the Prophet. The set features many new allies, including many new class-specific allies, as well as introducing the Steadfast mechanic.
